Mené par le producteur français Surkin, GENER8ION est un projet pluridisciplinaire, déjà remarqué pour sa collaboration musicale avec M.I.A pour The New International Sound Pt.II et son imposante vidéo chorégraphiée. L’entourage de GENER8ION se réunit cette fois-ci autour d’un magazine à l’image du projet, empruntant aux différentes sphères artistiques par le biais d’ambassadeurs sélectionnés.
Figurent entre autres parmi ses collaborateurs, Romain Gavras (réalisateur), Jackson (musicien), David Rudnick (graphiste), M.I.A. (chanteuse), Julien Dossena (directeur artistique de Paco Rabanne), Gaspirator (illustrateur), Paris, IL (Guillaume Berg + Virgil Abloh), le collectif suisse ARMES ainsi que le duo Partel Oliva (directeurs de l’image de Kenzo).
À l’occasion de la sortie du premier numéro de Unite or Perish et d’un EP sur Bromance Records seront présentées à la galerie Red Bull Space Paris une série d’installations exclusives conçues comme une extension de la revue.
Led by the French producer Surkin, GENER8ION is a multi-disciplinary project, already noticed for its musical collaboration with M.I.A. for The New International Sound Pt.II and the impressive choreographic video. This time GENER8ION mobilized its network for a magazine in the same vein as the project, borrowing from different artistic spheres via chosen ambassadors.
